OZ: THE ROAD TO SELF DISCOVERY 2009 FINE ARTS PERFORMANCE

Check out this orginal fusion musical that retells the stories of The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz and Wicked in a new and thought-provoking way!!!

Each wrote exceptional essays that demonstrated their love of artmaking and commitment to making our production's set just over the rainbow! Bravo!

FAMILY PICTURES IN TWO VOICES WAS A PARENT/STUDENT BOOK CLUB, MURAL MAKING & QUILTING PROJECT THAT WAS INSPIRED BY THE FABULOUS NARRATIVE PAINTING OF CARMEN LOMAS GARZA! STOP BY AND SEE OUR FINAL PROJECT---A FAMILY HISTORY HALL ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF OUR SCHOOL IN WORDS, PAINT AND CLOTH!

ROOM 307:
 OUR WINDOWS TO THE WORLD: RECYCLED GARDEN ART WAS A PAPERMAKING AND "STAINED GLASS" PROJECT THAT LOOKED AT RECYCLING OUR PRECIOUS RESOURCES IN A WAY THAT INSPIRES EVERYONE! OUR FINAL PRODUCT WAS NEW ARTISTIC WINDOW GLASS FOR THE FRONT DOORS OF OUR SCHOOL!
