Greeting from the students in Mrs. Fitzgerald's 4th grade class in Chicago, Illinois. This is a picture of Navy Pier on Lake Michigan. Navy Pier is a fun place to go with your family. Chicago is in the Midwest. Chicago stretches along the shore of Lake Michigan. Our downtown is called the "Loop". Chicago is 41 degrees and 50 Minutes North Latitude and 87 Degrees 37 Minutes West Longitude. Chicago is 578,5 feet above sea level. The city is 228.5 square miles.
Our city is home to the White Sox, Cubs, Bears and the Black Hawks. We are also the home of the world championship basketball team, The Bulls.
