By car from Chicago, take WESTERN AVE (Western becomes Asbury in Evanston) or RIDGE into Evanston. Turn right/East towards the lake onto CHURCH Street (Evanston).
-- Turn LEFT (second light) onto Maple (Century Theater) to park at Maple and Clark Streets.
-- OR continue to just beyond Chicago Avenue (on left) to park. (This lot is can be full by 9am.)

You can also take CLARK STREET from Chicago which becomes CHICAGO AVE in Evanston.
-- Turn right/East onto CHURCH Street. Parking is immediately to your left.
-- OR turn left onto CLARK Street (next light on Chicago Ave.). Pass under the EL tracks (just after Las Palmas Restaurant) and turn left onto Maple at the light. Parking is on your right at the first light.

You can also take LAKE SHORE DRIVE to SHERIDAN ROAD in Evanston. Turn left onto CLARK.
-- Parking is on your left, just before Chicago Avenue. (This lot is can be full by 9am.) If this is an exit, turn left onto Chicago Avenue, then left onto Church Avenue. Parking is on your left.

By Car from the Southern Suburbs, exit I-294 or I-94 at DEMPSTER heading East/towards the lake. Continue on Dempster through Skokie. Turn Left on McCORMICK AVE. Turn right/East onto CHURCH Street at the first light (towards the lake). Cross RIDGE AVE into downtown Evanston.

By Car from the Northern Suburbs, exit I-94 at OLD ORCHARD heading East (Left) to Crawford Avenue (as far as you can go). Turn right onto CRAWFORD AVE. Turn left onto CHURCH (second stoplight). Cross McCORMICK. Cross RIDGE AVE into downtown Evanston.
-- Turn LEFT (second light) onto Maple (Century Theater) to park at Maple and Clark Streets.
-- OR continue to just beyond Chicago Avenue (on left) to park. (This lot is can be full by 9am.)

PARKING
Parking on campus is challenging. Be aware that your car will be ticketed a $50 fine if parked on-campus in a student or staff parking lot. Street parking is extremely limited and meters only allow for 2-hour parking. Most non-metered parking has a 2-hour limit.

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to find off-campus parking at one of the public parking lots listed below. This will allow for your 15-minute walk from your car to the Norris University Center. Keep in mind that the Metra and CTA El also have stations approximately a 15-minute walk from the Norris Center.

Please plan to park in one of the following public parking lots:

Public Parking Lot at Chicago and Church Streets
(This lot can be full by 9am)
Entrances at Church or Clark Streets, east of Chicago Ave.
Sometimes one entrance is "enter only," and the other is "exit only."
Cost: $6.00 (payment is your responsibility)

Enter at Maple and Clark Street.

Please allow for a 15-minute walk through campus to the Norris University Center.

WALKING DIRECTIONS FROM PARKING LOTS
From the parking lot, walk east towards the lake. Cross Sheridan Road, turn left (north) and follow the path along the road into South Campus Drive. (It looks like the entrance to a driveway where Sheridan Road turns left away from the lake. You'll see the Medill School of Journalism on your left.)

Follow the drive into the campus. You will pass the student/faculty parking lot on your right, then Louis Hall, the concrete building on the right. Walk up a small hill to the Norris University Center. (The library will be on your left.) When you enter the Norris University Center, go up a flight of stairs to the reception desk and ask for the Louis Room.
