The Northwestern University Collaboratory Project invites students in grades 4-8 to participate in the Annual Rebecca Caudill Book Club.

NOTE: To officially participate in the Rebecca Caudill selection process, your class must register and send in their votes to the Rebecca Caudill Young Reader’s Book Award Program.  For more information, visit http://www.rcyrba.org/.

What is Illinois Reading? Survey

After registering for the Project, students and teachers will take a survey about what types of books they like to read and why they pick them.

The Rebecca Caudill Cybrary

Students and teachers will submit links to the Cybrary about the Rebecca Caudill books and authors and any related information.  They can also submit links about Rebecca Caudill and the Rebecca Caudill Award.  Students will use the Cybrary to help them select the books they want to read.

The Rebecca Caudill Internet Book Club

Students will submit reviews of the books they have read in the Internet Book Club (IBC).  They will then use the IBC discussion area to talk about the books with their fellow reviewers.

Vote for your Favorite Rebecca Caudill Nominee

After discussing the books they have read, students will vote on their favorite Rebecca Caudill nominee and will analyze the results.
