• to encourage middle school students to take the initiative
• to remind students that the staff, students, and community are here to support them in their endeavors
• to display the advantages of getting involved in school activities
• to show that there are unlimited resources available to us
• to encourage students to be leaders with a strong voice
• to inform students of how their four years at ETHS will affect their future goals
• to demonstrate the positive effects of positive peer pressure; encourage each other to succeed, not fail
