Shoe Unit Writing Project-  This is a cooperative, writing project that the kids are so excited about!!  What is involved in this project is:

1. Inventing and advertising their own shoe
2. Writing silly questions that you would ask a shoe
3.  Assembly line project-working as a team to make the best shoe in the shortest amount of time
4. Idioms- that involve shoes or socks
5. Roles that shoes play in stories or poems
6. Trying to figure out why sneakers are called "sneakers"
