Radial Designs
After
becoming familiar with the painting tools in Appleworks, students created
original radial designs. Each student created a 45 degree angle design
using the paintbrush and shape tools. Then color was added with solids,
gradients,and patterns. The transformation functions of the program
were then used to repeat, flip, and rotate the original angle until the
radial was complete. The results
were often surprising!
