I helped
my team by reading this book:
1. As you read, keep a list of all of your book's characters:

2.
Setting of the Book:
(Place: Where did the
book take place?)_______________________________________
(Time: When did the
book happen?) __________________________________________
3.
Make a list of at least 3 things that you thought were important in the
book. (These must be 3 things that are NOT
on the back of the book or on the book jacket or amazon.com.)

•You can listen to the books on CD or tape as long as it is an unabridged version. That means a word-for-word reading. (Abridged means its a shortened version that is really just a summary of the book. This may help you understand the book, but it won't help you answer many Battle questions!)•You can have someone read the book to you or read it with someone.
•Videos don't count! Watching a video is fun and might help you understand a book, this doesn't count as reading because parts of the book will be left out or might be changed on a video. So, if you watch the video, read the book, too!
