CLASS UPDATE
Reading: We have finished The Westing Game. We are now reading twobooks. The boys are reading "Hatchet" which is about a boy stranded in the wilderness. The girls will be reading " Number the Stars ' which is about a little girl in occupied Denmark during World War 2.
Language Arts: We are currently working on POETRY.
Spelling: Our goal is to do one unit a week.
Math: We have finished Ch. 10 which focuses on adding and subtracting fractions concepts . We are now working on multiplying and dividing fractions.
Science: We are studying the Solar System.
Social Studies: We
are working on our CIVIL WAR project.
