NSHEC Coordinator
 

NSHEC Coordinator Pat Widmayer, Ph.D.Patricia Widmayer, Ph.D. is the Coordinator for the North Suburban Higher Education Consortium, a collaboration of 27 colleges and universities in Chicago's north and northwest suburbs sharing programs and projects through technology. She is also Manager of Development for Information Technology, Northwestern University.

Patricia was President and Senior Consultant for Widmayer & Associates, a Chicago consulting firm working with colleges and universities, national associations and state agencies on strategic planning and public policy issues. From 1973-1985, she was policy specialist and staff director for the Speaker of the Michigan House, Congressman Bob Carr, three Michigan Superintendents of Public Instruction, and the Governor of Michigan. She also was Executive Director of the Governor's Commission on the Future of Higher Education in that state, a high school teacher and a university faculty member, and holds a B.A. in Political Science, and a Ph.D. in Education from Michigan State University.
