Description of Institution
Illinois Institute of Technology is a Ph.D.-granting university, established in 1890, with programs in engineering,
science, architecture, business, design and law. One of the 17 institutions that comprise the Association of Independent
Technological Universities (AITU), IIT offers exceptional preparation for professions that require technological
sophistication. Through a committed faculty and close personal attention, IIT provides a challenging academic program
focused by the rigor of the real world. The university's 6000 students come from every state in the U.S. and more
than 80 other countries. IIT and its contract research affiliate, IIT Research Institute, have an annual research
volume of $135 million.

Tuition & Fees
Tuition for 1997-98: $520/credit hour for undergraduate courses; $575/credit hour for graduate-level courses. MBA
and M.S. in O.T.M. courses $1,530 per course (3.6 quarter hours each).
Academic Calendar
Fall and Spring 16-week and Summer 8-week semesters.
M.B.A and M.S. in O.T.M. four 11-week quarters beginning, late August, November, February and May.
