Description of Institution
William Rainey Harper College is a public - two year community school. The student population 24,000 is served by 221 full-time faculty & 600 part-time faculty. We offer a wide range of credit courses in Academic Enrichment and Language Studies; Adult Educational Development, ESL; basic skills; women's program; Business/Social Science; continuing education offering's Liberal Arts; Life Science and Human Services; Pre-GED/GED courses; Physical Education; Technology, Mathematics and Physical Science; vocational and technical skills courses. A study abroad- program is available to students.

Tuition & Fees
Tuition: $46 per semester credit for in-district residents and eligible employees of companies within the College district. Various fees may also be required.

Academic Calendar
Two 16-week semesters; one 8 week summer semester.
Short courses and seminars are offered each semester. Weekend classes are offered Friday evening through Sunday.

Campus Support Services
Palatine Campus: a comprehensive Learning Resources Center; a science and technology lab, a classroom complex; a lecture-demonstration center; a park management and greenhouse facility; a college center for student-related activities; Week-end college; financial aid, career planning and placement services; counseling; child care and bookstore. There is ample parking and space for business meetings or sales seminars.
