Videotaping/recording policy


Recording/videotaping of classes shall be only at the initiation of the sending institution and of the faculty member teaching the course and may be used only at the discretion of the faculty member. The faculty member and sending institution will agree on retention, distribution and rebroadcast of the tapes. Any other restrictions adopted by institutions also apply.
Further, in no case shall a recording be kept by the institution for more than 2 weeks without the permission of the faculty member.


Student waivers/release for videotaping


It is the responsibility of each institution to establish appropriate policy regarding student waiver/release for the taping of classes.


Copyrights


It is the policy of the Consortium not to violate copyright laws. Each institutions' procedures for monitoring and receiving copyright approval will apply.
