Faculty library and audio visual equipment access

Library services

Circulation privileges to library collections and ability to place materials on reserve will be provided to faculty teaching interactive video courses at both the sending and receiving institutions. Access to other library services, such as interlibrary loan, and electronic full-text and database services may vary by institution, and can be arranged between libraries at the initiation of the originating institution.

Reserves

Materials to be placed on reserve must be received by the receiving institution(s) at least one week in advance of the date they need to be available to students.

Library instruction

Basic library orientation and assistance are available at the libraries of both sending and receiving institutions. It is the responsibility of the faculty at the sending institution to make arrangements for formal library instruction sessions to be conducted at the receiving site by librarians from either institution.

Non-standard AV equipment

All equipment in each interactive video classroom is available to the faculty and students during class time. Equipment needed outside class time, whether for faculty or student use, may or may not be available at the receiving institution. It is the responsibility of the sending institution to make arrangements for and/or provide AV equipment and materials needed outside the interactive video classroom.
