Students will:

keep track of Internet research by making, editing, and annotating bookmarks.

use search engines to locate resources on one author studied in our world
literature class, using help features on engines to gain skill with tools.
-
keep records of Internet sources for bibliographic reference by saving
bookmarked web sites to disk.
-
design an AUTHOR PAGE and RESOURCE
PAGE to share annotated author resources.
-
design an INFLUENCES PAGE in which students
share their understanding of the author's style of writing, themes and
motifs as well as your response to one or more of his/her works.
-
through research on the Internet and research in the school and other libraries,
learn about the biographical, social, political, historical, cultural,
theological and philosophical context of an author's work.
-
respond to other web pages through a guest book feature.
-
prepare for an oral presentation on how the biographical, social, political,
historical, cultural, theological and philosophical context of an author's
work gives insight into that work.
-
work collaboratively with classmates to learn research and technology skills
needed to complete the above objectives.
