    Influences
    Queen Elizabeth Many of Shakespeare's plays were written for her and many of which appeared at her courts.
    Theatre Theatre was popular with the people, the Queen loved it and it was inexpensive to attend.
    Poverty/Country Life Shakespeare came from a small village and grew up with the peasants. Stratford was the base of his imagination.
    Love for England His love for England was reflected in many of his works. He wrote about a country life, just like that of Stratford and England.
    Shakespeare's own age Tried to be part of and sympathize with poems. 
    Patriotic Never wrote anything against his country.
    Bible Part of his youth and his times in Stratford and included it in his works.
    Catholic Revolt The revolt caused him to "hold back" in some of his works.
    Latin Text The imagination was based on Latin books he read as a child.
    Ovid's  Metamorphoses The believe inspired him to write " The Rape of Lucerne, from the Fasti."
    Greene Allowed Shakespeare to be part of his plays and Shakespeare began to change his plays.
    People of the town Taught Shakespeare a lot because they were the most influential people of the town and his father was part of the upper class. He attended a private school.  The people taught about the real world.
    Ancient Writers Caesar, Cicero, Sallust, Liras, Virgil, Horace, Ovid, and Senca -- Shakespeare used many of these writers' works as a basis for some of his own works.
