About the Day in Illinois Project The Northwestern University Collaboratory Project, in partnership with the Illinois State Board of Education, invites all Illinois K-12 students to participate in A Day in Illinois Project 05/05/05 to learn more about our State and the communities that it is made of.
A Day in Illinois Cybrary After registering for the Project, students and teachers submit a link about their hometown or region for students in other parts of the State. A Day in Illinois Survey On May 5, 2005, students take an on-line Survey and learn more about the other students who are participating in the A Day in Illinois Project and their communities. The Day in Illinois Nexus Community On May 5, 2005, students from around the State of Illinois will take five (5) photographs of their community, class or school. Submissions can be made as an individual student or as a class. In the following week, students will be able to look at how different and similar May 5, 2005, was for their fellow Illinoisans.
